Privacy policy.
Clear, straightforward statements about how we handle (and don't handle) your data.
Last Updated: June 8, 2026
1. Zero Data Collection
Octaveview does not collect, process, or store any personal data. You are not required to register, create an account, or provide an email address to use our services.
2. 100% Client-Side Processing
All audio synthesis, waveform calculations, and WAV rendering happen completely on your device. The Web Audio API operates in the local sandbox of your browser window. None of your audio parameters, frequencies, or exported files are ever transmitted to our servers.
3. No Cookies or Trackers
We do not use tracking cookies, advertiser pixels, or telemetry frameworks. We do not track your site navigation history or user behavior. The only storage utilized is standard localStorage, which stores your local preferences (such as your UI theme choice and saved user presets) solely on your own machine. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
4. Third-Party CDNs
We load external libraries (such as encoder scripts) from public Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) including cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net. These CDNs may collect standard logging metadata (such as IP addresses and browser user agents) required to serve static assets, in accordance with their respective privacy statements.
5. Changes to This Policy
